make sure that you do your homework.

You have to be a people person.

A heated towel rail in the middle of August when it was 30 degrees outside.

How long the work day would be, it’s 16hours in summer.

It has to be meeting fascinating people from all over the world.


What tips do you have to make sure guests book with you directly?

Keep them happy and always give them your card when they leave.

Provide the best service you can and pay attention to detail.

They wish they could live here all the time.


Why did you choose to get into the accommodation business and what career did you have before?

I wanted the independence. I was a school Bursar.
