This is an award celebrating those properties that offer rooms at an average daily rate of under £40, whilst still providing clean, comfortable accommodation, and something more interesting and quirky than a soulless budget-chain hotel. Providing a very necessary and often overlooked service, to a great standard in terms of service and cleanliness, at a reasonable price.
This year the award was presented by the head of the UK B&B Association, David Weston.
