In the spirit of Christmas, the eviivo team are very excited and proud to welcome Ruby the donkey to the team. We recently adopted Ruby who is 8 years old and was born and raised in Blackpool where she enjoyed many years giving rides to kids. Ruby now plans to spend her retirement in The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon.
Ruby had a very sad start in life after being rejected by her mother and was given only a 60% chance of survival by vets. However a local farmer saved her when he raised her on baby formula and Ribena.
Fortunately today is a very different story – Ruby is one cheeky donkey. She has opened bolts on her barn, leading her herd to make a run for it into another paddock, and when the vet came for a visit she stole his stethoscope and ran away!
We think she’ll fit in at eviivo just perfectly.
