We know that every single host and hotelier has a unique story to tell and that is what makes them stand out against their competition. So we thought we’d catch up with a couple of the finalists and winners from The AA B&B Awards to find out their story and get some advice about standing out!
Firstly, we speak to Liz from Bulleigh Barton Manor who was a finalist from the AA Friendliest B&B award, who offers us some top tips on how you can go that extra mile for your guests.
Next up we speak to Chris from The Grove, Cromer who won the eviivo sponsored AA Story Award. Chris tells all about what it was like to grow up in a B&B, including having strange people walk into his room when they were lost and how quickly things went wrong in the B&B during a time when they didn’t have phones!
Finally, we get a history lesson from Geoff at The Marina Metro, who tells us all about his historical building that was taken over by the Germans, before being reclaimed to accommodate the honeymooners on ‘lover’s island.’
