After having such lovely weather this August, we hope you enjoyed a busy season. This month our podcast is focused on why independent hosts and hoteliers should be getting on board with their local tourist boards and associations. So, we spoke several external and in-house experts including Claire Smith who is one of the chairman for Stay Blackpool, an organisation made up of B&B’s, Self-catering, guest houses and hotel owners. She will be telling us all about how they help local accommodation businesses, by fighting their corner and providing a community for them as well as many other things.
We also spoke to eviivo’s own Tourism Partnership Executive Alex Byrne who explains how eviivo works with tourist associations.
David Weston, Chief of the B&B Association also joins our Tourism Partnership Manager Ian Hardwick to discuss what they do to champion the B&B; as well as catching up on the latest industry news.
Finally we spoke to Julie and Ray from The Gordene Hotel in Blackpool who have been nominated for our Budget with a Twist eviivo award.
