2018 has been a very busy year for all of us here at eviivo both at home and away, so let’s find out what eviivo staff have been up to:
Our web developer, Usama, travelled to Halong Bay in Vietnam and was very lucky with the weather!
Where’s Celine? See if you can spot our Marketing team member Celine, on Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo, Japan – the biggest pedestrian scramble in the world!
After 10 years together, Sean, our Head of Development, married the love of his life. At the reception, the couple surprised all of their guests with drag queens for entertainment, played gay bingo and had a fish and chip van for food.
Distribution connectivity Manager, Jo, sang live on BBC Radio 2 with her choir Some Voices, as part of a special ‘Friday Night is Music Night’ celebrating the human voice on BBC Music Day.
Wooly the sheep and some eviivo helpers, accompanied the Family Holiday Association for the Thames Treasure Trail hunt across London – and came second!
Our CFO, Ed Gilchrist forced his wife, two sons (8 & 6) and 3 month old puppy to climb to the top of Scafell Pike.
This year, Tim was lucky enough to get a ballot place for the London Marathon. Despite training for it throughout the winter in sub-zero temperatures, and snow storms, his first 26.2 mile run was the hottest London Marathon on record! Tim used the opportunity to support Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, and ended up raising £1,792 – and a large part of this was due to the generosity of his eviivo colleagues.
Luke, our Junior Systems Administrator, spent a weekend away on his motorbike taking a trip around Wales, visiting the national parks and coastline, totalling 1000Km (600 Miles). He said that the Welsh roads were brilliant to ride and the landscape was captivating.
Kim, from eviivo’s Paris office, graduated from her master’s degree in digital strategy in October after her year of internship at eviivo and was offered a permanent marketing job. Congratulations, Kim!!
Whilst working over in the US, Lee and James got to visit the set of the legendary 80’s soap opera, Dallas!
Customer Support Manager, Hemanshu, has been spending as much time possible with my son and enjoying watching him grow.
Our content manager Lydia, aka the person writing this blog post, went to Sri Lanka in May and learned to surf!
In 2018 it was Garvin Ly’s goal to travel more, the resolution was to travel to at least 5 countries which he managed with ease. His goal for next year is 10! Here’s Garvin in Hong Kong:
Our Marketing Executive for Iberia, Navin, loves electronic music so much that in 2018 he found time on the weekends to DJ in clubs!
2018 was an all-European cities exploration year for Marie from Sales in the Lyon office. She travelled to Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania, for a friend’s traditional but epic wedding and explored eccentric Berlin in November.
It was an eventful year for Charlotte in the Lyon office, who got married, travelled to Colombia for the honeymoon and to introduce her husband to her family. They also adopted an adorable cat from a shelter.
eviivo’s UK Sales Director, Steve, had a beautiful baby girl this year. Isn’t she adorable!
Filipa, our Finance Operations Manager, got married in 2018! Congratulations!!!
It’s been a great year for everyone at eviivo in 2018 and we look forward to seeing what the team get up to in 2019!
