Latest trends from Expedia and key updates as lifting of final restrictions delayed

It is great that all accommodation types across the UK are now open once again, and with the recent fabulous weather the summer season has well and truly begun, with guests enjoying their stays with you once again. It is crucially important now that we maximise the months ahead and we are here to help you make sure those booking their staycations do so at your properties.

Guests on our latest Share Webinar include Expedia, who will be sharing their latest booking trends, and highlighting the innovative ways they are helping the independent accommodation sector recover.

Plus we’ll be talking with the owners of properties welcoming back holidaymakers, to find out what’s working, and what’s not, as we get ready hopefully for the ending of further social distancing restrictions. As they share their best hints and tips to help us all along the road to a successful staycation filled summer.

Marta Rissotti, Lead Account Manager – Key Strategic Partners at Expedia, will be with us to share their latest booking trends and highlight all the ways they are helping the independent accommodation sector recover, and share best practice advice in order to help you get bookings through their site.

Owners of The Berkeley Apartments, Maggie and Simon, will be highlighting why his portfolio of properties are in high demand, and how recent press coverage in The Mirror has helped him promote his accommodation to a wider audience, and boost their bookings.

Plus the owner of boutique hotel Blanch House, Kerry Turner, will be sharing how their season has begun, and how it has been to welcome holidaymakers back again, including one of the eviivo team who enjoyed a recent stay there as part of our #staylocal2021 campaign.

Whilst David Weston, Chairman of the Bed and Breakfast Association, will be with us to highlight any key challenges to expect, now there is a delay in all final restrictions being lifted.
