FAQs
Can I still create access codes manually?
Yes. Device Manager also allows you to generate ad-hoc or permanent codes for yourself and your teams as and when needed, enabling easier staff access.
Are guests able to use the code after check-out?
No. Codes expire automatically on or shortly after check-out, based on your configuration preferences. If there is an issue (e.g. someone has to return because they left an item), you can instantly reissue a code or extend the validity of the original code remotely.
Does eviivo support all the smart lock brands in my portfolio?
eviivo supports an extensive range of lock manufacturers, including the most popular – such as Schlage, Yale, Nuki, Salto, TT-Locks, AssaAbloy, dormakaba, and over 25 more – with the list expanding regularly. So, if certain units in your portfolio use Schlage locks, but others use Salto, this is not an issue. You can manage and control them all from a single Device Dashboard.
Can I adjust when codes are valid to/from?
Yes. By default, codes are valid from check-in to check-out.
However, you can adjust these timeframes in a single click (for a given booking, a specific lock type, or right across the system) to offer more flexibility to guests as and when needed.
