A 16th-century Scottish castle has been named the ‘hottest property’ in the independent UK and Ireland accommodation sector.
The announcement of the winners of the 2022 eviivo Awards was big news. After Covid forced the glamourous event to be curtailed in 2020 and 2021, it was back with a bang for ’22 with a lively virtual ceremony and even a top celebrity appearance!
Covering the UK & Ireland, France, Germany and the US, this year’s eviivo Awards were a key element of International Week of the Host, which shines a spotlight on the incredible independent accommodation sector and the dedicted hosts and hoteliers behind an amazing array of properties. There were three awards catagories for each country: Hottest Property, Unsung Hero and Outstanding Host.
Hundreds of entries were whittled down to a shortlist of five of the very best in each category for each country, deliberated over by a panel of expert industry judges. After the announcement of the winners, no less a luminary than Baywatch star David Hasselhof rounded off proceedings with his congratulations and an inspirational message to all.
The Awards caught the attention of The Mail which published a list of all finalists and winners plus plenty of photos and comments from the owners of Hottest Property winners, Kilmartin Castle in Argyll. The Mail feature was also published by MSN. Amazing coverage for our well deserving winners and finalists!
