We had a great time at the Vitur Summit 2024 this week, the largest European event for short term rentals, serviced apartments and flexible and alternative accommodations.
Vitur brings together the leaders and industry experts for short term rentals, with high-level presentations, business perspectives, innovative content and opportunities to establish contacts.
Aside from being a fantastic networking event, Vitur Summit is an opportunity for industry experts to share their knowledge and analyze trends and developments in tourist accommodation.
Our team was on the ground for both days of the summit, meeting with partners and customers. These events provide invaluable networking opportunities, and it was great to foster new relationships as well as catch up with some of our older partners.
We also had the pleasure of watching our CEO, Michele Fitzpatrick, speak on three separate occasions. Michele spoke in a one on one with Carlos Perez-Lanzac de Lorca – founder of Vitur – on day one; topics that emerged were the rapidly evolving landscape of the short term rental market, the impact of AI and the high quantity of big players in the industry at this point in time.
Michele appeared on a panel of speakers on day two, discussing the topic of key drivers for consolidation of the short term rental industry, followed by a keynote address on ‘short-term rentals: bubble or sustainable growth?’.
Vitur was a great opportunity for industry experts to discuss the current short term rental landscape and share thought leadership. We are looking forward to next year!
