With the high season nearly upon us, we decided to talk to some of our customers to find out what they do to stand out against the competition and to learn all about their story and pick up some useful hints and tips along the way.
Firstly, we speak to Trisha Gibb from Lang House, who explains why they think quirky proprieties are the forward and about their plans to expand her business and buy other unique accommodations.
Then we speak to Dave from Stone Villa, who gives us advice on how to offer affordable luxury accommodation and tells all about the time a guest had to cancel when she gave birth on the day of their visit… without knowing she was even pregnant!
Finally we speak to David Weston from the B&B association who updates us on the London bed tax threat and rising business rates hitting B&B’s. But it’s not all doom and gloom as he tells us about the British B&B still scooping up all the top spots in the latest TripAdvisor awards.
