Farm Stay UK, the leading organization for promoting farm-based tourism in the country, have announced a new partnership integration with eviivo that allows guests seeking a countryside holiday to find and book accommodation more easily with eviivo’s award-winning property management platform.
“We’re truly delighted to be working with eviivo to show its availability on our website,” says Lisa Preston, Farm Stay UK IT Director. “Over the last four decades, we’ve seen so many changes to how people search for and book accommodation — and a stay on a farm has proved perennially popular. This integration with eviivo is one of the latest ways we are keeping up with user behaviour and the shift to online booking.”
Farm Stay UK — celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2023 —has helped travelers the world over enjoy a rural getaway at hundreds of member properties since its establishment. Many properties listed on its website offer online booking, and the recent integration expands on the number that can now show real-time availability and prices. Bookings are made direct with the property with no commission.
“As we look forward to a new season with travelers planning their holidays throughout 2023, a stay in the country or on a working farm is now even easier to book with our platform,” says eviivo CEO Michele Fitzpatrick. “We’re pleased that Farm Stay members who use eviivo can now link their availability directly to their booking page, adding just one of myriad benefits to using eviivo at their property and helping more guests to wake up to the beautiful countryside that the UK is famous for.”
One business to benefit from the integration is Marshwood Farm in Wiltshire, a long-time eviivo user and Farm Stay member. “Having a connection between my eviivo diary and the Farm Stay website makes it so much easier for me to keep availability in-synch,” says owner Fiona Lockyer. “The fact that any bookings are commission free is a real bonus too. We’re hoping that it will help many more guests find us for a family staycation in 2023.”
Through the partnership, both companies raise awareness for the wealth of wonderful properties in the British countryside and continue to be champions of the independent accommodation sector.
