Stay Open, Stay Safe.

We can beat this! Adapt, survive and thrive.

Covid-19 is spiking into a second wave. Experts expect a dark winter but they also believe that the impact on businesses is unlikely to be as severe as earlier in the year, as long as we all do our part to keep ourselves and those around us safe.

This hub is designed to help you understand government guidelines, how they affect you and where to find help. It brings together useful materials and resources to help you navigate and overcome these difficult times.

What are my safety obligations?*

You must protect staff and guests at all times, with the following recommendations:

  • Carry out staff temperature checks
  • Ensure everyone wears a mask at all times
  • Ensure everyone observes social distancing at all times
  • Implement enhanced sanitisation protocols
  • Make sure guest parties do not exceed 6 people
  • Close bars, restaurants, clubs and common rooms
  • Do not accept wedding or funeral receptions
  • For the most up-to-date details check gov.uk or your local authority.
How can I get help?*

  • A new VAT rate of only 5% continues to apply until March 31st 2021. For the most up-to-date details check gov.uk or your local authority. Some bank and insurance companies are also providing help. For more information click here.
