Our annual event continues to recognize the wonderful hosts, property owners and hoteliers of independent accommodations.
For the first time in its history, the prestigious eviivo Awards, known as “The Oscars of independent accommodations” presented during International Week of the Host, will also be in the US, Germany on top of UK and France where multiple award ceremony were already held in the past years.
eviivo Awards is renowned in the travel industry for supporting and promoting the independent accommodation sector, and while it was put on pause during the pandemic, it’s back for 2022 — and more inclusive than ever! This year, we’re going global — and we’re proud to host the celebrated event in no less than 4 countries!
The best properties in the UK, USA, France and Germany will be recognized globally in daily activations during International Week of the Host, between March 21 to March 25, including eviivo Awards on March 24.
Both International Week of the Host and eviivo Awards have a single purpose: to raise the profile of the independent accommodation sector and highlight and support exceptional property owners, small hoteliers and hosts like you.

Our awards ceremony, eviivo Awards, will be a virtual event streamed simultaneously in the UK, US, France and Germany on March 24 at 7pm BST/8pm CET and again at 8pm EST in the US. So break out the champagne and join us to watch the proceedings, the announcement of the winners and secret celebrity guest hosts!
eviivo and its partners will also host daily activations to help recognize and promote independent properties across the globe, such as a flash sale with outstanding properties and travel influencer stays to highlight amazing places.
On March 24, eviivo Awards will recognize, highlight and honor exceptional properties and hosts across the UK, US, France and Germany, in three new award categories:
Unique? Over-the-top luxury? Cool design? The Hottest Property Award recognizes properties that simply have that “wow” factor. Whether they are forward thinking in design, have cool features (like an infinity pool over a mountain or 80s nostalgic game room with pinball and arcade), the hottest properties are the types that go viral on social media. Show to us that your property is the hottest place of the year, and how you transformed it into a visual phenomena.
Judging criteria: Applicants must show innovation in design — attention to detail, exceeding expectations in comfort and cool factors apply.
Any successful accommodation business relies on every individual employee to give their very best. Sometimes their efforts are highly visible, but often the hard work of team members goes unnoticed by guests. It could be the conscientious cleaner, green-fingered gardener, or the sous chef preparing a delicious breakfast day in /day out.
The Unsung Hero Award will reward the employee, nominated by owners, whom they rely on for their businesses to be successful — individuals who keep the business going, the glue that holds everyone together, and the virtual pillars of the property who deserve to have their time in the limelight. This is a great opportunity to put your property in the limelight but also to give a big special thank you to these special employees.
Judging criteria: Nomination will be a vital cog in the wheel that drives the success of the property, someone who demonstrated great dedication to the business over the years and improved processes in their area of expertise.
Outstanding Host
Research shows that when it comes to reviews, properties in the independent accommodation sector significantly outscore the chain hotels in the area. The Outstanding Host Award is designed to recognize the business, owners, managers and/or hosts who not only go the extra mile, but also exceed expectations for their guests and can demonstrate the building of a service culture throughout the operation of the accommodation.
Judging criteria: The submission will prove how they have exceeded expectations for their guests, perhaps demonstrated through online reviews or how they made sacrifices for their staff and property to continue thriving.
The announcement of the winners will take place on March 24 with an exciting and entertaining special virtual event, streamed simultaneously in the UK, US, France and Germany and attended by key industry experts and special messages from surprise celebrity guests.
PRIZES
Each category winner in each country will receive $1,000 (U.S)/ £1,000 (UK)/ €1,000 (Germany/France) to put toward their property.
Runners-up will each receive a $250 (US) / £250 (UK) / €250 (Germany/France) credit toward the cost of your eviivo subscription or OTA commissions.
Both winners and runners-up will receive a special plaque to mark the occasion and recognize the quality of the services they provide. They will also be promoted by eviivo on eviivo.com and through our social media and communications program.
Any property owner, hotelier, or host currently in operation can enter the awards.
