How eviivo has helped pioneering glamping brand Wigwam Holidays transform UK farmers into outdoor hoteliers 

Founded in the late 1990s by CEO Charles Gulland, Wigwam Holidays works closely with farmers across the UK, who make up 80% of its franchisees.  

These farmers and smallholders host the brand’s luxury timber Wigwam Pods on their land – transforming picturesque yet underutilized spaces into profitable and sustainable outdoor hospitality sites.  

The Wigwam team previously used another system to manage bookings and pricing. However, as they pivoted to a business model more akin to “outdoor hotels”, they realized an upgrade was needed to operate with greater efficiency.  

They also knew their farmer and landowner franchisees, many of whom worked 365 days a year and possessed limited-to-no tech experience, would require an intuitive, user-friendly platform from day one. 

Equipped with eviivo Suite™, the eviivo Mobile app, and just a few months of hospitality management training, farmers and landowners have been able to launch fully-fledged hospitality businesses as an additional revenue stream.
